Biography
Sayed Attar is a veterinary pathologist with extensive experience in diagnostic pathology as well as pathobiology. He has experience in anatomical pathology, in-situ hybridization, immunohistochemistry, and cytogenetics. He is the professor in the Department of Pathology at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Zagazig University, Egypt. He has a strong interest in the training of our graduate students and he has served in the last 15 years on 12 Ph.D. and 15 MS graduate student committees, on all of these as chair and primary mentor. Furthermore, he is the visitor professor to Fac.of Vet.Med.Tripoli University, Libya, since September 2005 up to July ,2015 .
Research Interest
His interest focuses on diagnostic pathology, immunopathology, cytopathology, pathobiology and the pathogenesis of viral, bacterial and fungal diseases as well as cancer pathology, both in animals and inhuman. His work has focused on incorporating education in veterinary medicine and pathology with training in human biomedical research.
